What you can do with it

Count signups and purchases

Fire an event when a signup is completed or an order is placed.

Measure button clicks and downloads

Find out which calls to action are used and which are ignored.

Calculate your conversion rate

Compare completions with visitors to see how well your page converts.

How it works

Send an event from JavaScript
pa.track({ name: 'signup', value: 19.99, unit: 'EUR' });

Call pa.track() with an object. The object must contain a name, and may contain a numeric value and a unit. Events work without cookies, so declined consent cannot hide conversions.

Use our conversion rate calculator to turn event counts into a conversion rate.

Frequently asked questions

How do I track a custom event?

Add the tracking script to your page and call pa.track({ name: 'your_event' }) when the action happens, for example in a click handler or after a form was submitted.

Can events carry a value?

Yes. Add a numeric value and an optional unit such as EUR to measure revenue or other amounts.

Do events need a cookie banner?

Noralytic itself does not store anything on the visitor's device, so events do not need a consent banner for Noralytic.
