  • Exclude bots: known crawlers and a filter for fake browsers are not counted
  • Exclude IPs: list addresses or whole ranges in CIDR notation, one per line, such as your office
  • Exclude URL parameters: remove specific query parameters or all of them from the stored page path

What you can do with it

Do not count yourself

Add your own IP address so your visits do not distort the numbers.

Remove fake traffic

Bot filtering stops crawlers and automated browsers from inflating your pageviews.

Merge duplicate URLs

Strip tracking parameters so one page does not appear dozens of times.

How it works

Open the website settings and fill in the fields. Excluded visits are rejected when they arrive, so they never appear in your reports. Excluded IP addresses are only compared, never stored.

Real visitors from any country are still counted. The bot filter only targets automated traffic.

Frequently asked questions

Is the bot filter on by default?

Yes. Bot exclusion is turned on for new websites, and you can switch it off in the settings.

Can I exclude a whole network?

Yes. Use CIDR notation to exclude an entire address range.

Does excluding data change past numbers?

No. Exclusions apply to new visits from the moment you save them.
