Cookieless web analytics for Webflow
Paste one line into your Webflow project settings and get fast, privacy-friendly analytics, with no cookies and no consent pop-up for analytics.
Why use Noralytic with Webflow
Webflow sites are built for design and speed, and a heavy analytics script works against that. Noralytic adds under 1 KB and keeps your Core Web Vitals intact.
It is a good fit for marketing sites, portfolios and agency projects where a clean visitor experience matters.
- No cookies, no local storage and no stored IP addresses, so analytics alone does not need a consent banner.
- A tracking script under 1 KB that will not slow down your pages.
- Real-time stats, top pages, sources, countries, devices, campaigns and events in one simple dashboard.
- Single-page navigation is tracked automatically, because the script follows the browser history.
What you need
- A free Noralytic account with your website added under its exact domain.
- A Webflow site on a paid plan that supports custom code in site settings.
How to add Noralytic to Webflow
The tracking code is one line. The steps below show where it goes.
<script data-host="https://noralytic.com" src="https://noralytic.com/js/script.js" id="ZwSg9rf6GA" async defer></script>
- Open project settings
In the Webflow Designer, open Site settings. - Go to Custom code
Open the Custom code tab and find the Head code field. - Paste the tracking code
Paste the Noralytic snippet into Head code and save. - Publish your site
Publish to your live domain. The code only runs on published sites.
Check that tracking works
- Open your website
Use a private browser window so extensions and your login do not interfere. - Open the Noralytic real-time view
In your Noralytic dashboard, open your website and go to Realtime. - Look for your visit
Your page view should appear within a few seconds. Click through a few pages to see each one counted.
Track custom events on Webflow
Give a button or link a class such as <code>track-signup</code>, then add this to the Footer code field to count its clicks and form submissions.
document.querySelectorAll('.track-signup').forEach(function (el) {
el.addEventListener('click', function () {
pa.track({ name: 'signup_click' });
});
});
document.addEventListener('submit', function () {
pa.track({ name: 'form_submit' });
});
Events appear in your Events report. A value and a unit are optional, for example pa.track({ name: 'purchase', value: 49.9, unit: 'EUR' }).
Exclude your own visits and bots
To keep your numbers clean, open your website settings in Noralytic and add your own IP address under excluded IP addresses. Make sure bot filtering is enabled so known crawlers are ignored.
Troubleshooting
- Custom code needs a paid plan. If the field is locked, check your Webflow site plan.
- Staging domain: add your live domain in Noralytic. Visits on webflow.io are only counted if you add that domain too.
- No data after a few minutes? Confirm that the domain in Noralytic matches your website exactly, and that the script appears in the page source.
- Ad blockers: some blockers hide analytics scripts. Test in a private window without extensions.
- Content Security Policy: if you use one, allow
noralytic.comas a script and connection source.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a plugin or app to use Noralytic with Webflow?
No. Noralytic works with a single line of code, so you do not need a dedicated app or plugin.
Does Noralytic need a cookie banner on Webflow?
Noralytic itself does not use cookies, so analytics alone does not require a consent banner. Other tools on your site, such as advertising or social widgets, may still need one.
Does Noralytic work on the Webflow staging domain?
The script runs wherever it is published, but Noralytic only records domains you have added. Add your live domain, and the staging one if you want to test.
Does custom code slow down Webflow?
Not noticeably. The Noralytic script is under 1 KB and loads asynchronously.
Is Noralytic free to use with Webflow?
Yes. Noralytic has a free plan with 10,000 pageviews per month for one website, and paid plans start at €8.99 per month.
