Keep fake traffic out, and see how much it was

Not every visit is a person. Noralytic rejects automated and faked visits when they arrive and shows you how many it blocked, so you can trust the numbers that remain.

What you can do with it

Trust your numbers

Know that fake visits are not part of your reports.

Explain a quiet day

Compare the blocked count with the visitors you see.

Check your own exclusions

See that the addresses you excluded are actually blocked.

How it works

Blocked visits are rejected the moment they arrive and never enter your statistics. Only a counter per day and reason is increased. No address, no browser data and nothing else about the visitor is kept.

Bots are blocked while "Exclude bots" is turned on in the website settings. The counter starts on the day the feature was added.

Frequently asked questions

Do blocked visits count against my pageview limit?

No. They are rejected before they are counted.

Can a real visitor be blocked by mistake?

The filters target clear signs of automated traffic. If you suspect a problem, you can switch bot exclusion off in the website settings.

Is anything about the blocked visitors stored?

No. Only a number per day and reason.
